Chicago PD returns for it’s second season Wednesday, September 24th at 10/9c.
THE BLACKLIST
Last year, NBC’s breakout hit series, The Blacklist, grabbed hold of viewers from it’s debut and took them on one hell of a ride all season long. FBI newbie, Elizabeth Keen, teamed up with Raymond Reddington, better known as, Red, one of the world’s top criminals, to take down some of the worst offenders. He has a mysterious connection to her father and for weeks many viewers, us included, were sure Red himself was her father. The Blacklist season two poster below, shows Red standing tall in front of the city skyline. He is much larger than the skyline much like Red and his personality are larger than life. And of course, the red background is symbolic of Reddington’s nickname, Red. The Blacklist returns Monday, September 22nd at 10/9c for it’s second season.
A to Z
New to NBC this Fall, A to Z, a comedy, chronicles the relationship of a newly paired couple. Like the romantic comedy’s graphic reads below, the series tells the story of “Everything that’s happened since Andrew met Zelda.” The show’s stars are pictured facing one another in the promo graphic. Andrew, who is aptly labeled with an arrow pointing to him, has a huge smile on his face. While, Zelda appears as if she’s trying not to laugh at whatever he thinks is funny indicating maybe she grounds him and he loosens her up a bit. A to Z premieres Thursday, October 2nd at 9:30/8:30c, but NBC is offering a free digital preview on it’s site.
EMERALD CITY
Coming in 2015, NBC gives one of the most magical worlds ever created another visit in Emerald City. Based on L. Frank Buam’s 14 book series, “Oz,” the story will have a more modern and sophisticated feel to it. Dorthy finds her self submersed in a battle for control of the magical city. The new show’s promotional poster below, shows the image of a woman walking towards a tornado. The sky in the poster has a dark and ominous look to it. The slogan, which simply reads, ‘Surrender’ and the combination of the woman literally walking towards the tornado suggests maybe Dorothy chooses to go into a storm or battle for the city to secure the fate of the beloved Emerald City.
