Supergirl Recasts Young Danvers Sisters for Season 3

The future is looking super for a couple of young actresses

It looks like Olivia Nikkanen and Izabela Vidovic have been cast in Supergirl‘s upcoming season, according to TVLine.com. Olivia (The Americans) will play young Alex Danvers, who was previously portrayed by Jordan Mazarati. Izabela (The Fosters) will join her in flashbacks as young Kara Danvers, formerly played by A Series of Unfortunate Events‘ Malina Weissman. The episode will feature Alex and Kara’s hometown as they relive a murder mystery that took place while they were in high school.

This isn’t the first recast announced for Supergirl’s third season, as it was previously revealed that Smallville’s Erica Durance would be joining the cast as Kara’s mother, formerly played by Laura Benanti.
