Bollywood star Amy Jackson is set to make her American television debut as Supergirl‘s Saturn Girl
DC broke news this week that Amy Jackson, a well known Bollywood star, is headed to National City. Amy will play Saturn Girl, an alien hailing from (you guessed it) Saturn, and one of the founding members of the Legion of Superheroes. Supergirl will be Jackson’s first appearance on American television, as well as her first time playing a superhero.

Although this is Amy Jackson’s debut on American television, the same can’t be said for Saturn Girl. The character appeared in hit series Smallville in 2009, in an episode directed by Geoff Johns.
SUPERGIRL returns OCTOBER 9th at 8/7c on THE CW.
