Apple has landed animated musical comedy Central Park, starring Leslie Odom Jr., Kristen Bell, Daveed Diggs, and more! It will be executive produced by Josh Gad. Tone Bell has been cast as a lead in the CBS pilot Fam and Thomas Lennon is set to play the lead in the new Fox comedy pilot, Dan the Weatherman. Ryan McPartlin has also been added to the Bad Boys NBC pilot from Gabrielle Union!
Amy Seimetz is set to recur in season 2 of Get Shorty and Weeds alum Justin Kirk has been will recur opposite Jim Carrey and Judy Greer in Kidding. Charles Parnell and Saidah Arrika Ekulona will be series regulars in the culture-clash comedy Our People.

Disney Junior’s Mickey And The Roadster Racers will return for a season 3! Due to the producers not being able to find the series a home, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency will not have a season 3. TBS has renewed the Snoop Dogg and Method Man hour! The Joker’s Wild and Drop The Mic will return on April 15. ABC has renewed America’s Funniest Home Videos!

Johnny Sneed and Brenna D’Amico are set to star as series regulars for Bobby Bowman’s untitled comedy pilot. Steve Baldikoski and Bryan Behar have been named the new showrunners of Netflix’s Fuller House.

Hot Topic: Nina Dobrev to lead the comedy Fam
Former The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev, is returning to television in a comedic role as the lead of CBS multi-camera comedy Fam! The series will be written by Corinne Kingsbury and directed by Scott Ellis. Fam is centered around Clem (Dobrev) whose younger half-sister, Shannon (Odessa Adlon), comes to live with her to escape their train wreck of a father. Clem’s fiance was told that her father was long dead and her secrets will soon come out. All of that could lead to the destruction of her relationship.
Guess Who: Hulu is stepping into the adult animation space, casting news for Steps, Camping, Our People, and more!
Hulu is moving into the adult animation space and has signed a deal with Nick Weidenfeld for a first-look animation! The Emmy-winner has a long history of adult animated series and will develop and executive produce projects for the streaming platform.
Julie Hagerty and Cameron Boyce have been cast opposite Kyle Bornheimer and Ginnifer Goodwin in Steps! Ashley Williams, James Earl, and Daniel Stern have all been cast as series regulars in the comedy pilot Dan The Weatherman. Allison Williams had been cast in a secret role for the returning Netflix series, A Series Of Unfortunate Events! Sinbad has been cast to play the father of Rel and Nat in the comedy pilot Rel!
Ione Skye and Juliette Lewis have hopped on to join the HBO comedy series Camping from Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. Janice Bravo, Arturo Del Puerto, and Brett Gelman have also been cast as series regulars in Camping. Julie Klausner will co-star in So Close from Greg Malins. Mike O’Gorman has been cast as a series regular for the untitled Erin Foster comedy pilot! Ving Rhames will co-star in the CBS reboot pilot Cagney & Lacey as Police Captain Stark.
Lilla Crawford has been set to lead the Bobby Bowman executive produced comedy pilot. Crawford will play an intelligent middle schooler who is trying to establish her own identity in a town when her father’s shadow threatens to loom over her. Will Kindrachuk has also been cast. Matthew Glave and Skai Jackson have rounded out the series regular cast of Our People, from Lee Daniels and Vali Chandrasekaran.

Interviews: The Will and Grace cast on getting a season renewal and their favorite guest stars
Fans were ecstatic with the news of the Will and Grace revival getting a renewal for a season 2. Instead of the show going forward with 13 episodes, the will move to an 18-episode season. While at the PaleyFest panel the cast discussed their excitement for the renewal and the pressure of making a successful revival show.
“There’s certainly a pressure to live up to it this time around, but we knew we could be these characters again. I just feel like this has been a magic carpet ride, this reboot.” – Eric McCormack
They also discussed their favorite guest stars after viewing the penultimate episode that had Alec Baldwin in it. Debra Messing recalled Debbie Reynolds guest starring as her mother.
