Reign is about to invade National City
There’s a new big bad and she’s headed to National City. Pure Genius’ Odette Annable has joined The CW’s Supergirl in a series regular role as Reign in the upcoming third season. Reign, one of the five worldkillers created by Zor-El, and partners survived the destruction of Krypton. With her origin’s unknown, Reign becomes an enemy of Supergirl when she arrives on earth with plans of domination. Though when Reign makes her debut on screen, her costume will differ from the DC comics.
“Greg (Berlanti) and I have wanted to work with Odette for years,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. “We are beyond excited to have her join our cast in the scary, powerful and heartbreaking role of Reign.”

Annable, who’s just coming off playing Dr. Zoe Brockett in CBS’ Pure Genius, previously played, Jessica Adams on Fox’s hit series House. She is also known for her roles in Banshee, You Again and Cloverfield. She’s repped by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
