ICYMI: New casting news for The Magicians and Supernatural’s ratings are still high.

In case you missed last week’s news here is a quick roundup. Felicia Day has joined Season 3 of The Magicians. Season 3 of “The Magicians” is right around the corner, coming in early 2018. Fans are very excited about this because she is considered a ‘“Geek Icon.”

Long-running CW show “Supernatural” is still kicking and doing well. It is tied for the second-best ratings on the network so far. We don’t think this show is ending anytime soon.

Hot Topic: Is this proof that Tormund Giantsbane is alive?

Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa also caught up with many other GoT cast members. He met up with Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Kit Harrington was also apart of the reunion fun. But the biggest surprise of the whole night was that fact that Kristofer Hivju who plays the beloved and hilarious Tormund Giantsbane was also featured in several pictures posted by Momoa. This sent fans wild and may have solved a major GoT season 7 cliffhanger. The last time we saw Tormund he was trying to escape the Night King’s Ice Dragon attack on the wall. Do these pictures mean Tormund lives? (You can see the pictures on Jason Momoa’s Instagram.) We think he lives because he is a pretty major Thrones character he’s King of The North’s right-hand man. If he were to die we would definitely see his death on screen. I guess we’ll find out next year when Game of Thrones comes back for its eighth and final season (cue sad tears). We really hope that Tormund lives.

Social Frenzy: Instagram was buzzing quite a lot of Game of Thrones reunions and we are loving it.

Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) and Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) have reunited and our hearts are singing. This is just what we needed to warm our hearts during this cold Autumn weather. The reunion happened in London while Game of Thrones Alum Jason Momoa was there for a day promoting his new movie Justice League.

According to both stars, Instagram’s they spent the whole night laughing and drinking Guinness. What a wonderful way for this amazing onscreen couple to reunite. This picture sure makes us think what Drogo and his Khaleesi could have been if he lived.

Game of Thrones used chickens to design Daenerys’ dragons

Dragons obviously aren’t real even though it would be super cool if they were. The Game of Thrones SFX team had to find something to model them after so they chose a chicken. They explained their decision to Gamespot:

“When they got bigger in Season 3 and 4, there was a lot of, ‘So if a dragon is this big, how can it lift itself up? What is it? Is it a bat? Or is it a bird? Is it an eagle? And the amount of energy that went into these discussions is beyond belief. That’s why they went to a Trader Joe’s and bought a chicken, and took it apart, and said, ‘So, how does that work?’”

Although it’s a bit weird and out there it’s also pretty cool. After reading this we too questioned what a dragon actually is and what animal it closely resembles. But there is no doubt that the Game of Thrones SFX team did an incredible job with these dragons. Sometimes we even forget that they aren’t real!

Rumor Has It: Game of Thrones star Lena Headey in talks for a new biopic

Lena Headey is in talks to join Banking On Mr. Toad, which will follow the life of Wind In The Willows writer Kenneth Grahame. Headey is working on the final season of Game of Thrones so her schedule seems to be pretty busy. There is not much news about the movie but according to EmpireOnline. “The story will follow Grahame (Kebbell), his wife Elsie (Headey, assuming she makes a deal) and their young son Alastair, who struggled with his health and had to deal with problems for which there was no cure in 1908. Grahame’s success with his book – he was secretary of the Bank of England at the time – helped matters. Brian Blessed is on to play Grahame’s friend and confidante Frederick James Furnival, who we’re guessing bellows from time to time. And there will be appearances from some of Grahame’s famous characters, brought to life via CG.” We hope Headey signs on to this movie because it will make it even more epic. We also can’t get enough any GoT actors they are all so talented.

What’s happening next week: The Shannara Chronicles Reveals More About the Warlock Lord’s Plans

The Shannara Chronicles More hints are being dropped about the Warlock Lord’s intentions and return. The Warlock Lord is a great evil and was defeated by Will’s (Austin Butler’s) dad Shea Ohmsford. He was resurrected at the beginning of season 2. Now it is Will’s turn to defeat the Warlock Lord just like his father did 30 years ago.

Gasp! Does Captain Hook have a daughter?

Who is Hooks daughter going to be? Just to clarify this is an alternate version of Hook.

TvGuide explains what you need to know. “Now that we know how Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) ended up in Hyperion Heights, it’s time to solve the mystery of his missing daughter on Once Upon a Time. In “A Pirate’s Life,” we learned that the real Hook is living his happily ever after (and new beginning) with a pregnant Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) back in Storybrooke. Season 7’s Hook is actually the older, drunken version from the Wish Realm made younger and hotter with a little help from Lady Tremaine (Gabrielle Anwar).’

Thank goodness this isn’t the real Hook because it would break our hearts. Hook and Emma is one of our favorite relationships. Some people have made guesses on which Disney Princess is going to be Wish Realm Hook’s daughter. Keep watching to find out!
