Starz gives us a goodies galore as we get a glimpse of key art, a trailer, a new video AND a full pilot episode of their new show Counterpart
We’re just a trifle excited about the new Starz series Counterpart. And why shouldn’t we be? The series is produced by Justin Marks and stars academy award winner J.K. Simmons as Howard Silk, a lowly bureaucrat in a Berlin-based UN spy agency. From Starz:
When Howard discovers that his organization safeguards the secret of a crossing into a parallel dimension, he is thrust into a shadow world of intrigue, danger, and double cross… where the only man he can trust is his near-identical counterpart from this parallel world. The show explores themes of identity, fate and lost love, posing the eternal question, “what if our lives could have been different?”
It’s a great concept and sign us up for anything to do with JK Simmons. Plus we totally love that there are two versions of the key art, JK Simmons as Howard Silk, and of course his counterpart from the parallel world. The first video below of the new series overview provides the audience with a more in-depth look at this world of intrigue and espionage with interviews featuring executive producers and cast, as well as never-before-seen-footage.
