TV director, Peter Baldwin, passed away at the age of 86. He was most known for his work on The Wonder Years and The Dick Van Dyke Show.
There has been a lot of hype around TNT’s next big show, The Alienist, starring Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning. A new trailer for this psychological thriller was released, titled “Hide And Seek.” The series will premiere on TNT January 22, 2018.
A straight to series order of 13 episodes was made by CBS for its action-adventure series, Blood & Treasure, set to premiere in summer of 2019.
Big Little Lies alum, Alexander Skarsgard, has joined Park Chan-Wook’s series, The Drummer Girl. Production on the mini-series begins next year.

Finally, some House of Cards news! Production will resume in 2018 after it was halted following sexual allegations against Kevin Spacey. The final sixth season will be shorter with only eight episodes and continue without Spacey.
The creator of Masters of Sex, Michelle Ashford, penned an overall production deal with FX.
Guess Who: OWN casts two lead roles for its upcoming drama series, Love Is plus more!
A new upcoming drama series on OWN, Love Is, has cast its two lead roles. Michele Weaver and Will Catlett. The series will tell a story of a power couple navigating their way through Black Hollywood and will be based on creators’ Mara and Salim Akil’s life.
Starz completes casting for its upcoming Latinx drama, Vida. The cast includes Elena-Campbell Martinez (Big Bang Theory), Ramses Jimenez (Fear The Walking Dead), plus many more in recurring roles.

Coming Soon: CW releases first look at Riverdale mid-season finale, Marvel to dabble in next-gen animation, plus more!
CW released the mid-season finale trailer for Riverdale, following this week’s episode! It gives a sneak peek into the showdown with the Black Hood.
Marvel is headed into the world of animation with the plan to launch six four minute-digital shorts about Spider-Gwen. These shorts will be followed by a feature film called Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, to be released later in 2018. The shorts will also feature Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, and the likes.
AMC released the first trailer for its upcoming anthology drama, The Terror, executive produced by Ridley Scott. The drama is based off a true story about the Royal Navy’s treacherous voyage exploring uncharted territory.
There is a lot of anticipation surrounding Starz next drama, Counterpart, starring academy award winner, J.K. Simmons. Be sure to tune in for a sneak peek of the pilot episode following the Outlander season finale on December 10th.
