David Anders Heads Back to Storybrooke
iZombie star, David Anders, is scheduled to return to Once Upon a Time in the hit ABC fantasy drama’s highly anticipated sixth season. According to Entertainment Weekly, Anders will reprise his role as Dr. Whale, a.k.a Victor Frankenstein. He was last seen in season 5, where he helped deliver Zelena’s (Rebecca Mader) baby.

“If you’re going to have Jekyll [Hank Harris] and Hyde [Sam Witwer], there has to be a mad scientist convention,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says. Adds EP Adam Horowitz: “Let’s just say mad scientists stick together.”
Anders joins other returning familiar faces, including Jessy Schram as Cinderella and Raphael Sbarge as Dr. Hopper, along with new characters Jafar (Oded Fehr), Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), Princess Jasmine (Karen David), Morpheus (Giles Matthey), and the Count of Monte Cristo (Craig Horner).
