Tristin Mays Returns as Sarah Salvatore
Tristin Mays, who played Sarah Salvatore in season six in The Vampire Diaries, is reprising her role in the hit supernatural series’ eighth and final season. Mays teased fans she’d be returning to TVD as the last living descendant of the series’ beloved Salvatore brothers by posting a photo from the set on social media. We last saw Sarah towards the end of season six and warned to leave Mystic Falls, but not compelled to forget everything she learned about vampires.
While Sarah’s reason for returning remains unclear or whose story she’ll be linked to in the new season. Perhaps, she’ll play a role in bringing Damon (Ian Somerhalder) back from the darkness that consumed him and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) at the end of last season. Sarah is his the last living relative, so it could be possible. It’s TVD and we all know anything is possible in TVD.Guess we’ll find out soon enough. (Mays time on TVD will most likely be limited because she recently joined the MacGyver reboot on CBS as a season regular.)
