The Show: Fuller House
The Network: Netflix
The Genre: TV Shows, TV Comedies, Sitcoms
The Challenge: Give a show four episodes with which to draw you in, impress you, challenge you, make you feel something deeply. Four episodes for the chance to find out if you care what happens to the characters you’re watching enough to become invested in the story. If after all that, it does none of those things for you? Then no biggie. You gave it a good shot and you can move on. But if you love it, you’ll be glad you stuck around.
The Premise: D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure) returns in the highly anticipated season 3 of “Fuller House” alongside Stephanie (Jodi Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber)
Last season Fuller House left us with quite a lot to deal with! The love triangle between D.J. and old high school sweetheart Steve (Scott Weinger) and hunky Dr. Matt (John Brotherton) left fans at the edge of their seats. Season two ended with her confessing to Stephanie and Kimmy that she was going to pick Steve. But that she was in a good place with Matt and happy for Steve when he got engaged. Stephanie is dating Kimmy’s younger brother Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch). Becky (Lori Loughlin) and Jesse (John Stamos) decided that they wanted to adopt a baby. So many things happened with this bunch. But it’s just getting started!

Season three Fuller House picks up with D.J. happy with Matt and continuing to raise her three boys the best she can. D.J. admits that sometimes she has off days and that she doesn’t always have it together like everyone thought. Season three is also filled with Kimmy Gibbler’s crazy clothes and antics as she tries to get Steve to pick her to be his wedding planner We have a feeling season three is going to be filled with many great plotlines. But we worry we won’t have enough time to see season three develop the way it should. Since this season is only nine episodes instead of 13. We shall see what happens within the Fuller household.
Seeing the gang back together in the old Tanner kitchen still gives us a feeling of nostalgia.
Now we admit it’s still not exactly like Full House; no reboot will ever be the same as the original. But that does not mean it can’t still be decent. If it was a standalone show and not a reboot we’re sure it would still do well. When watching this show for the first time and seeing that it was the same set we were awestruck. Now even in season three of Fuller House it still amazes us that the gang is back together in the old Tanner home. Most viewers (we included) missed Michele (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) a little in the beginning. But now after three seasons, we are over it because we love some Kimmy Gibbler (let’s be real guy we all have a little Gibbler inside of us). To be honest Michele wasn’t really exciting anyway just cute. We included and many other viewers will always come back to watching Fuller House purely for the nostalgic we feel while watching. Millions still watch Full House so why not get the best of both worlds and watch Fuller House as well! Just seeing everyone together after 30 years is enough to keep us coming back.
“I think people that don’t know the show will enjoy it too, but really this is a show for the fans — this is ‘Full House’ 2.0.”- Jeff Franklin (creator of Full House and Fuller House)
These are classic television characters gracing the screens again. They resonated with viewers back then and still do today. Nick at Nite still reruns Full House episodes every night and it rakes in millions of viewers. The people watching reruns every night should also give Fuller House a chance. Like show creator, Jeff Franklin said Fuller House is Full House 2.0. The character’s story doesn’t just end of Full House now. They continue and it’s really amazing to see where they keep ending up in season three of Fuller House.

The love triangle might explode!!!
This love triangle between D.J., Matt, and Steve is on shaky ground. Don’t you want to find out what happens? Some of you might not be able to figure out which team you are on. At the end of season two, D.J. admits she would have picked Steve. So did she pick Matt as a second choice because she didn’t want to feel alone? Is D.J. going to stop the wedding? Or is Steve going to stop his own wedding? Come on guys you know these are questions that the been popping up in your mind. We are leaning towards team Matt, D.J. needs a fresh start and not a ride into the past. Seeing it unfold is something you are definitely going to want to see.
“We know where D.J.’s heart is, but Steve doesn’t. And I don’t think D.J. is fully aware of how Steve may or may not be feeling. That big, messy situation will get resolved in the two halves of the season.” Jeff Franklin, Bustle
A good love triangle can keep you nice and distracted from all the other things in life. It can also be related, sometimes people want what they can’t have. They fib about their emotions and say they are happy. Just like D.J. did when she found out Steve was getting engaged. You could tell she was sad, but the thing about D.J. is she puts everyone before herself. So will she get her happy ending or is she happy with Matt? I think viewers prefer to see D.J. with Matt. Even the shows creator Jeff Franklin wants them together. D.J. and Steve are not star-crossed lovers they are just old flames. So it will be interesting to see what D.J. does because her decision impacts her life and others.

It must not be easy to dress the one and only Kimmy GIbbler. But the costume department is doing a fantastic job. Soon they might even one-up Kimmy’s battery pack light up prom dress. Also to Elias Harger who plays Max, you melt our hearts and make us laugh. You are doing a phenomenal job in every scene!
