The Sexy Salvatore Brothers’ Panel at Love & Blood ItaCon 3D
The Vampire Diaries handsome Paul Wesley (Stefan) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon) appeared at Love & Blood ItaCon 3D, an annual Vampire Diaries and The Originals fan convention in Rome, Italy. (June 19-21). Hosted by Fantasy Events the weekend includes Q & A panels, signed autographs and photos ops with cast members. Stars scheduled to appear included Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt Michael Trevino, Michael Malarkey, Rick Cosnett and Chase R. Coleman,The weekend closed with a duo panel from Paul and Ian Sunday afternoon. Below are some quotes from their panel and some pretty amazing photos shared by fans.
- Only Paul is on stage and he tells everyone, “My brother is running a little late.”
- Paul shares, “My mum is here today.”
- If Paul wasn’t an actor he says, “I’d probably have wanted to be a hockey player, but I wasn’t that good, maybe a journalist or maybe just a loser” His mum jokes he would just have been a loser! She says that if he wasn’t an actor, he could do anything cause he’s gorgeous. Awe!
- Claire drops by to say bye to everyone because she has to catch a flight.
- Paul says, “Ian and I don’t need a girl anymore, we have each other! But I think in the last episode Elena will wake up.”
- Paul:thinks, “Fame is different depending on the place. People in Italy really love TVD! I’m grateful that people enjoy it!”
- A piano is playing in the background so Paul says “Daniel is playing the piano naked!”
- Ian arrives late and Paul tells him “I missed you Ian!!”
- Ian asks “Why do we not have wine right now?” and then they decide to drink red wine during their panel.
- Ian shares, “This country has the most incredible food, Paul and I are very excited to be here. Italy is a magnificent place!”
- Ian confesses, :”I’ve never seen Twilight” and Paul jokes “I love, love, love Twilight. I love Robert Pattinson, He’s so hot!”
- A fans starts to ask a question, What does a fan have to do to…and Paul interrupts “to get into Ian’s pants? Hardly anything!”
- The question is what does a fan have to do to leave a good memory? Ian says “I remember every single one of your faces!”
- Paul’s three words to describe Ian are blue-eyed angel.
- “You’re my true friend Paul.” - Ian.
- Ian: ( acting like Stefan ) “I wanna suck on you but I just can’t…wah wah!!”
- Ian says “Hello brother” and Paul replies, :Oh hello big sister.”
- Ian jokes a spinoff for TVD could be The Salvatore sisters! and Paul adds, “The Salvatore sisters come to Mystic Falls and instead of Elena they fall in love with Elijah.” HAHA!
- Ian says, “Paul, your performance in Season 1 was amazing!”
- “What if we had bad Damon and Ripper Stefan together at the same time?” - Ian. (Yes, please)
- Ian says, “Thank you for the energy and the love.”
- Paul shares, “We would like to come back to Italy next year.” and Ian again says “Thank you for all the love for me and Nikki. Paul and I appreciate every single one of you truly!”
