The Following Season 3 Premieres with a 2 Hour Special

*FOX has revised its schedule and The Following 3×01 “New Blood” will still air March 2nd at 9|8c, but The Following 3×02 “Boxed In” will now air Monday, March 9th at 9|8c.

FOX released the official episode synopsis for the highly anticipated third season of the addictive psychological thriller, The Following. Season three begins with a two hour premiere including two episodes, 3×01 titled, “New Blood” and 3×02 titled “Boxed In.” Take a look at the official descriptions for the upcoming new episodes and the promo clips below..

Official Synopsis:

New Blood:
With Joe Carroll awaiting execution on death row and all signs of his following erased, Ryan Hardy has moved on from the dark events of his past. But his newfound happiness is shattered when a series of brutally staged tableaus threatens to tear open old wounds. Ryan and his team are forced to unravel a twisted web of violence before it destroys them all – leading them to face a terrifying truth: Joe Carroll was just the beginning.

Boxed In
Ryan believes he has found the connection between Andrew (guest star Andrew Irby) and Mark, but he and the FBI are still unsure if – and how – Joe Carroll might be connected. Meanwhile, tension between Mark, Kyle (guest star Hunter Parrish) and Daisy (guest star Ruth Kearney) mounts and Ryan soon finds himself in a dangerous situation, in which facing the truth is the only thing that will set him free.
