The SSR Recruits Shea Whigham
Boardwalk Empire actor, Shea Whigham has landed a major role on the highly anticipated series, Marvel’s Agent Carter. Marvel reports Shea has been cast as one of the Strategic Science Reserve’s first leaders, SSR Chief Roger Dooley. He is described as tough but fair-minded and will oversea the agents at the Strategic Scientific Reserve.

Recently known for portraying Elias “Eli” Thompson on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, Shea Whigham as also known for his role as Jake in the award winning film, Silver Lining’s Playbook, Private Wilson in Tigerland and Captain Ted Beecham in The Wolf of Wall Street.
