Back From the ‘Other Side’ and Off to TVD Vegas

The Vampire Diaries’ beloved Matt Davis (Alaric) attended Creation Entertainment’s annual TVD and The Originals fan convention in Las Vegas, Nevada (Sept. 12 – 14). Cast members appearing this year include Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley. Michael Trevino, Zach Roerig, Steven McQueen, Kat Graham, Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Chase R. Coleman, Sebastian Roche’, Micah Parker and Paul Telfer. They appear in Q&A panels for the fans, sign autographs and take photos with fans. Matt appeared Saturday afternoon for his panel. Below are some quotes from his panel as well as photos shared by fans.

• Fan: What was your favorite scene your have seen?
  Matt: Now, this season.
• Fan: Since your back in season 6, what can we expect from u this season?
  Matt: Can’t spoil it, it’s gonna be a good journey.
• Matt: “They kill me every season”  Matt says season 6 is his favorite.
• He says he couldn’t find a black belt to match his shoes.
• Matt says he has to tell Julie that he didn’t want to keep coming back as a guest because it’s to hard being so close to the cast.
• Fan: What is the most memorable moment?
  Matt: “Oh they are so many.. There is one but it’s personal.”
• Matt says one of the funniest moments on set was when they made t shirts of half naked Ian and wore them on set  Haha!
• Fan: Who’s your favorite person to work with?
  Matt: Nina this season. Says he loves working with Nina
• Matt: “Elena’s nice to me on the show… Nina’s not. She’s not nice to me at all… I love it.”
• “When you are working with people who are good, they make you good” Matt on working with Reese Witherspoon and Nina Dobrev.
• He says he just did a scene with Candice and Zach and liked it.
• Matt says he would be a photo journalist or painter if he wasn’t an actor.
• Fan: Is there any up coming movies are you in?
  Matt: NO
• Matt says he would put plastic wrap on Ian’s toilet. Lol.
• Matt got an idea from a fan to put mayo in Nina’s lotion jar  Haha!
• Matt says he would make puppets out of the cast and act out his fan fiction.
• Fan: If you could change to any other character?
  Matt: Nina or maybe Paul
• He can’t stop talking about Elena and says Stefan is sexier then he is.
• Matt says Jenna won’t be back but Sarah is always on set because she’s dating an associate producer.
• Fan: What is your favorite character?
  Matt: “Me…No Matt Donovan.”
• Matt says he would be stuck on the other side with Matt Donovan. 
• He says him and Zach are like brothers.
