ICYMI: Westworld cast talks powerful women, Travelers renewed, more cast added to Roswell, and more!

Netflix has renewed original show, Travelers for a third season. Hulu’s new original series now has a new director in Ellen Kuras. The series based on the novel, Catch-22, will be a six part series. Kuras will direct two of the episodes along with George Clooney and Grant Heslov each directing two as well.
Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton both agreed in an interview how wonderful it is to play such strong women in HBO’s Westworld. Co-star Jeffrey Wright also spoke about the show and what may be happening with his character next season. After almost two years between seasons, the second season of Westworld hits screens beginning April 22nd.
Another series regular has been added to The CW reboot of Roswell. Trevor St. John has now been added as a series regular when the show premieres. St. John will play Master Sgt. Jesse Manes.

Hot Topic: Daniel Cerone, showrunner of Nightflyers, leaves the series!
Jeff Buhler has stepped in as Nightflyers showrunner after Daniel Cerone made the decision to exit the series. Buhler is not only the executive producer of the series, but the writer as well. Cerone joined the series as showrunner after SyFy ordered the series in January. Nightflyers will be based on the George R.R. Martin novella of the same name.

Check out how well Netflix original series, Altered Carbon, scored in our final verdict. Despite not using some of the cast members to full potential, the series won out with their relatable characters and believable world. Not to mention the extremely well done action scenes.
The season finale of The X-Files left us wanting more, so it’s a good thing we have the roundtable to fall back on. Just when things seemed unable to get crazier, Scully reveals that she’s pregnant with Mulder’s child. The Cigarette Smoking Man may be dead, or he may still be alive. Interviews: Cameron Welsh talks about his new show Krypton and how it goes much deeper into the history of the planet!
SyFy’s new show Krypton isn’t the typical Superman origin story. This time around, things are taking place way before the time of Clark Kent and looking at the life of his grandfather. Showrunner Cameron Welsh spoke in an interview with Variety about this show being different than anything seen about Superman before. Here’s what Welsh had to say:
“What you thought you knew about Krypton, you can forget. This setting really opens us up for anything is possible.”

Coming Soon: Westworld reveals new poster for season two, and Nightflyers gives viewers a first look into the new SyFy series!
Now that the release date of Westworld season two has been announced, HBO is handing out all kinds of teasers. The poster for the new season has now been released and boasts “Chaos Takes Control” as its’ tagline. The image of the mechanical vulture is made complete with the black hat and blood spatter.
SyFy has decided to release an even deeper look into their new series, Nightflyers. This first look shows mainly production values over what viewers can expect from the series when it hits our screens. But there are still teasing moments in the footage that you can check out!
