“As always, Chris Mollere’s music selection for “I’ll Remember” fit perfectly to enhance the emotion of each scene.” The Vampire Diaries Reviewer, Stephanie Flasher
The soundtrack for The Vampire Diaries 6×01 “I’ll Remember,” much like past episodes of the series was a compilation of soulful. heartfelt indie tracks that added extra emotion to each scene. For instance, The Wind and The Wave’s “From The Wreckage Built A Home,” just the title alone describes what each and every character is trying to do in the episode. The lyrics are poignant and really bring hit home the overall theme of the episode. “Light A Fire” by Rachel Taylor played in the background as Elena mustered up the strength to tell Damon goodbye. The song’s lyrics, melancholy and bittersweet remind us despite being a part the love Damon and Elena have for one another will still shine through and burn bright. Take a look at the complete song list for the episode below.
