Official Synopsis:

The Magicians deal with a variety of crises as Quentin struggles to keep his own problem a secret.

Alice and Quentin form a bond while discussing their new deal. All that while Margot fills Quentin in on Eliot’s situation.

With Eliot trapped between a dead clay corpse and his real body, Julia suffering some sort of complication during her demon baby abortion, and Fillory still suffering the effect of Ember’s tainting of the wellspring, Quentin’s got a lot on his plate.  Of course, let’s not forget his little problem with niffin Alice, who is determined to seal his end of their unholy deal for a taste of freedom.  This is the moment where Quentin either sinks or swims, and we’re all crossing our fingers that we’re not going to have to send out a lifeguard…
