Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) continues to delve deeper into Superman lore. She meets the Cyborg Superman and things will never be the same. Comic fans know that in the books Cyborg Superman is Hank Henkshaw, who is J’onn’s (David Harewood) alter ego on the show. Whatever his incarnation however, Cyborg Superman always proves to be a deadly game changer for members of the House of El. Here’s the official synopsis of the episode, which was written by Robert Rovner & Paula Yoo, and directed by Glen Winter.

Official Synopsis:

IT’S SUPERGIRL VS. CYBORG SUPERMAN

While Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood) who has been captured by CADMUS. While fighting to free Mon-El, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman.
