Slates for Sarah to Encourage for Safer Sets

Today across the country members of the TV and film stepped out for the first Slates for Sarah Walkathon. In Atlanta cast members, writers and producers from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals participated to raise awareness for safety in the film and television production. Earlier in the year TVD crew member, Sarah Jones, died on set after being struck by a train while working on an upcoming movie. TVD and The Originals creator and writer, Julie Plec took part in the walk as well as shows’ director and producer, Pascal Verschooris. TVD cast members that participated included, Zach Roerig (Matt), Matt Davis (Alaric) and Steven R. ,McQueen (Jeremy) while Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) and Nathan Parsons (Jackson) walked from The Originals. Take a look at the photos shared by the cast and crew of the hit supernatural shows at the Slates for Sarah Walkathon and you can donate to The Sarah Jones Film Foundation for safer sets.
