Shawn Mendes Survives The Ark!
“Stitches” singer, Shawn Mendes, has landed a guest role on the CW post-apocalyptic drama, The 100 for the series highly anticipated third season. E! Online reports Mendes has been cast as a young Ark survivor that appears in the season three premiere. His role is described as “special” and quite “unique.”
[Mendes] is set to appear in the season premiere. He’s playing a scrappy young Ark survivor who gets into a tricky situation and uses his particular talents to get out of it.
“Shawn is a big fan of the show, and reached out to me on Twitter about potentially working together,” executive producer Jason Rothenberg tells E! News. “He’s a very talented artist, and we knew we wanted to do something special and different for the premiere. Shawn gave us a unique opportunity and I can’t wait for our fans to see our collaboration.”
