With Netflix’s recent release of the cyberpunk series Altered Carbon, EW sat down and discussed the series with showrunner Laeta Kalogridis. She discussed everything from the future of the series to working with specific cast members again in the future.
“I loved working with the entire cast. There isn’t anybody I wouldn’t want to work with again. Exactly what form that would take in that world, we have a lot of freedom. I would never rule out working with Martha [Higareda] again ever.”
‒ Laeta Kalogridis (Altered Carbon, showrunner)
The Hollywood Reporter talked with Altered Carbon cast member Dichen Lachman about her naked action scene, the future of her character, and more.
“In a way, violence begets violence. She already grew up in a very violent environment, with domestic abuse, in terms of her mother and father’s relationship. She then ends up in the yakuza world, which is a matter of nurture. Her relationship with violence will be very different from someone else who doesn’t grow up in that environment.”
‒ Dichen Lachman (Reileen Kawahara)
Altered Carbon‘s Chris Conner also talked with THR about his character, the artificial intelligence Poe, and how he was brought to life.
