Things go a little stranger this week as we get an official timeline for Peter Capaldi’s exit. But before we get into all that and more in this week’s Sci-Fi After Dark, let’s go over what you may have missed from last week!

Not only did we get an inside look into Wolfenstein II being turned into a cartoon, but we also got the amazing news about The Orville being renewed! If you’re cheering right now, don’t worry you aren’t alone! We’re pretty excited about it too. Though it wasn’t all good news last week as more sexual misconduct allegations were revealed as well. There may have also been a few fun spoilers revealed as we gave you some details on Star Trek: Discovery and even some hints on a returning character to Legends of Tomorrow!

Hot Topic: Peter Capaldi leaving Doctor Who and Star Trek: Discovery producer Aaron Harberts talks errors.

It’s official! The Thirteenth Doctor will be plummeting to our screens soon! But the occasion is extra marked, as Peter Capaldi will make his exit during the Christmas Special of the show this year! If that’s not enough, our Thirteenth Doctor will be the first female doctor in the entire Doctor Who series! Jodittakie Wher will be taking over the iconic role. Star Trek: Discovery fans have been a little upset with what they see as continuity errors within the show. Aaron Harberts addresses the concerns and promises fans that everything will come around full circle the way it’s supposed to. There is still a lot of time for the seemingly inconsistent story lines to make their way into the main canon plot! Time will tell.

Rumor Has It: Kali may just be making her way back to Stranger Things season 3!

We may not be sure if Stranger Things will be returning for season three yet, but our hopes are high! The chances are also pretty good that we will! Along with those good chances, comes the probability of Linnea Berthelsen making her return! Fans would love to see Kali again, and Matt Duffer himself says the plans for Kali’s story line are already in play!
