TV After Dark Giveaway: Fans Counting Down Til They “Can Do It All Night” At Playlist Live!
Hey everyone! We had a blast doing this contest! All of you did an amazing job with trying to win those tickets. Thanks for your entries and for following us at @TVAfterDark and also @PlaylistLive. We hope you stick around with us because we love interacting with all of you on Twitter. Our first contest of the year was done via twitter where you had to follow us and Playlist Live; 2. Tag a friend (Hopefully they followed also) and 3. Retweet the post. The contest was held for 24 hours and you spread the word pretty fast. Our Mentions were soon taken over with enthusiastic tweets from YouTube fans trying to win their way into Playlist Live 2015 in Orlando, FL. The winner of the first #playlistllive ticket ultimately went to @Hannah_idkk.
Surprise Playlist Live Ticket With An Instagram Video Twist
Because there were so many of you tweeting us all of the reasons you wanted to go, we thought it would be a great idea as a last minute contest idea to do a 15 second Instagram video contest. Participants had to show us why they should be picked to be the next ticket winner. Thanks to Playlist Live who graciously granted another ticket to us on a last minute request. Ready with the #PickMeTVAD hashtag and 30 minutes to get your entry in (Yikes!), TV After Dark set the last minute contest into motion. Some responses delivered on wonderful antics, creative gestures, emotional requests and some even enlisted the help of Captain America (HAHA!). For some, technical issues would not stop them from thinking up other ways to submit their videos. One YouTube fan even created an Instagram account just to win. If we were Oprah, Tickets For Everyone
Here’s the challenge for us: All of you made it extremely hard for us to choose our top 5 entries but we did. We imagine that in our little Oprah gift giving-world, we would able to give everyone who sent us an Instagram video a ticket. It’s a brave thing to do and quite a challenging task to do within 30 minutes. Every single one of you deserves to be in each others company if even for a brief moment. Why? Simply because of what your love for Playlist Live represents. What happens when you win tickets to Playlist Live!
The announcement came via our Twitter account and we asked our followers to get ready to capture their response to winning just in case they turned out to be the winner. We sometimes forget that many of the followers who entered are still in school. LOL! Hopefully her teacher is really really cool and remembers what it was like to win something you’ve been dying to get your hands on.

If not for the late timing, who knows what might have happened? We just love the quick thinking and creative way in which this new TV After Dark follower took to create her entry for our 15 second Instagram challenge. 5. SOS – Captain America to the Rescue
When you plead and plead for things to happen and it doesn’t you don’t give up, you just find different ways to get inspired. It’s probably one of the most common things YouTubers go through. We guess with all the superhero buzz between Marvel and DC fans were bound to at least enlist one of the many superheroes for help. With upcoming new and returning series such as Daredevil on Netflix, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter on ABC there are no shortage of Marvel hero’s and this fan seemed to think so too!
