POLL: What was your favorite line from Shadowhunters 2×04?

Shadowhunters just gave it’s viewers the biggest shocker of the series yet 

The fourth episode of the second season of Shadowhunters aired this week, and boy, it was an emotional one. It’s safe to say everyone was shocked at the outcome of the episode. Nobody saw the death of Jocelyn coming because we all guessed someone else was going to be the one receiving her fate.

The episode delivered a few memorable lines from different characters that reflect how much they have grown since the beginning of the series and show sides from them that we hadn’t seen before. With each episode these characters keep showing that they have numerous layers covering them and it almost seems like we can see when one of them is taken off and explored. These are a few of our favorite lines from the episode:

Magnus to Camille

“The Downworlders I take under my wing they are my children. My family. I’m sorry, Camille. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect him. ”

Jace to Hodge

“I don’t believe in forgiveness, Hodge. I just stand by my actions, good or bad, and I accept the consequences.”

Isabelle to Clary

“I’m not saying she hasn’t done some pretty screwed up things. But all moms do. So maybe you should be glad you have one who wants to try and make things right.”

Clary to Jocelyn

“There is a part of me that wants to come with you… but I have to learn to stand on my own.”

Alec to Clary

“Impossible just means try again.”
