ABC released the official episode synopsis and promotional photos for Nashville 4×04 titled, “The Slender Threads,” written by Monica Macer and directed by Joanna Kerns. Check out the description, sneak peek photos and behind the scenes shots from filming the upcoming new episode below.

Official Synopsis:

“The Slender Threads That Bind Us Here” — Rock star Marcus Keen (Riley Smith) makes demands on Rayna as she struggles to tend to those around her. Layla and Jeff get into a lover’s quarrel. Jeff arranges for a journalist to shadow Juliette on tour, but after another emotional setback, she leans on pills and alcohol to get through her days, and Zoey (Chaley Rose) returns to see Scarlett, on “Nashville.”

NASHVILLE 4×04 airs WEDNESDAY, OCT. 14 at 109c. on ABC
