Life Doesn’t Always Go as Planned
A new comedy debuting on the CW this fall, Jane the Virgin is the story of a hard working, religious Latina woman named, Jane Villanueva, portrayed by Gina Rodriguez. Recently, described as the “Next Big Thing” by The Hollywood Reporter, Rodriguez’s character’s family tradition and vow to save her virginity until marriage is broken when she is accidentally artificially inseminated during a routine check up. And on top of that, Jane discovers the donor is her former crush, current manager where she works and not to mention, married.
