James Remar Joins GOTHAM as Jim Gordon’s Mysterious Uncle

Television Veteran James Remar is set to Extend the Gordon Family Tree After Fall Finale.

After the dramatic twists and turns Gotham has delivered in its most recent episodes, it should come as no surprise that a new & secretive character will be introduced in 2017. Playing the role of Jim’s (Ben McKenzie) estranged uncle Frank Gordon, James Remar is set so make his debut in the second half of season three.

According to the official character description, Frank “harbors a dark secret that will upset the foundations of Jim’s world”. The character abandoned Jim’s family after his father died in a fatal car crash a quarter century ago. While the exact reason for his return remains to be seen, we know that his presence will force Jim into a choice between saving his family and saving his city.
