DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Hawkman and Hawkgirl Costumes Revealed

CW Releases Photo of Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renée as Hawkman and Hawkgirl on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

As CW’s next superhero series has finally started production in Vancouver, Canada, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The CW finally released the first look at two of our heroes of the new series, Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) which you can catch below.

While the wings aren’t featured (as they will most likely be CG based) in this photo, these are solid adaptations by the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow costume designers. I was expecting Hawkgirl’s costume to have a bit more blue since Renée is playing the Kendra Saunders version of the character, who is currently sporting a very blue and white costume in the comic books. However, I am a sucker for the old-school Hawkgirl costume with the green and gold so I can’t complain. Hawkman’s costume is the one that surprised me a bit since I’m always used to seeing a lot of skin shown in Hawkman’s appearances. But I don’t blame DC’s Legends of Tomorrow for wanting to keep their heroes a bit more clothed as they do film in Vancouver. You will be able to catch both of the winged warriors this fall in the next Arrow and The Flash crossover event.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is slated to premiere during early mid-season of 2016, on The CW.

Catch the season premieres of The Flash and Arrow on Tuesday October 6 and October 7, respectively, both at 8/7c.
