Fifty Shades of ‘Younger’

TV Land released a new promotional teaser for Younger titled, “Fifty Shades” for the upcoming new original series from creator of ‘Sex and the City,’ Darren Star. Take a look at the new promo and official trailer for the new comedy below.

“Younger” follows 40-year old Liza (Sutton Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find it’s nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with the sexy Josh (Nico Tortorella), a young tattoo artist, convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 – with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Debi Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Miriam Shor) and teams up with her new co-worker and 20-something Kelsey (Hilary Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams. Now she just has to make sure no one discovers her secret.

Younger stars Sutton Foster as Liza, Debi Mazer as the best friend we love to tell our juicy details to, Maggie, Hilary Duff as Kelsey, a sassy 20 something editor at Empirical Publishing, Nico Tortorella as Josh, Liza’s sexy suitor and Miriam Shor as temperamental boss Diana.

The single-camera project, which is written, executive produced and directed by Darren Star (“Sex and the City”), is based on the novel “Younger” by Pamela Redmond Satran. Patricia Field, who worked with Star on “Sex and the City,” will be a costume consultant on the production.
