Will Tudor Cast As Shadowhunters’ Sebastian

The Institute will be hosting a new Shadowhunter when Will Tudor arrives as Sebastian in second half of Season 2

Fans rejoice!  Shadowhunters has finally announced that British actor Will Tudor, known best for his recurring roles as Olyvar on Game of Thrones and Odi on Humans, will be joining the cast to play the infamous Sebastian!  We will get our chance to see him as the titular character in the latter half of Season 2 later this year.

The official website reports that

“Sebastian is a charming, brilliant, and highly educated Shadowhunter with unrivaled fighting abilities. Originally from a foreign Institute, Sebastian finds his way to the New York Institute after befriending one of the show’s main characters.”

Of course, those of us who have read The Mortal Instruments series are aware that Sebastian is by no means just another Shadowhunter.  His arrival into the lives of Clary, Jace, and the Lightwood siblings is no mere coincidence, and when his true identity is revealed it will rock everyone to their core.  His alliance with those who seek to destroy the Shadow world as we know it will challenge our heroes and make them question everything they believe they know about those around them.
