Suits 6×14: Pearson Specter Litt is back in action: Mike takes a new deal, The Donna gets revamped & the big suit begins.
P.S.L was back in action in this week’s Suits. We already know that Mike (Patrick J. Adams) has decided to take Harvey’s (Gabriel Macht’s) deal to get Rachel to pass her character test and for him to get in the BAR. However, this week, we saw the results of Mike’s decision begin to play out.
Mike with the help of Oliver (Jordan Johnson-Hinds), gathers a ton of evidence to take Velocity Data Solutions to court. The two create a plan to take down this company, and with the help of Harvey and P.S.L behind them, Mike and Oliver are sure to be on their way to do so.
While this is happening, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Benjamin (David Reale), the firm’s IT tech, try to make his device “The Donna” even better. With new catchphrases, responses and a possible new setup, will “The Donna” hold up to both of their expectations?
Finally, Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Katrina (Amanda Schull) join forces this week to help Louis meet with a huge client of the firm. It was great seeing these two together again- especially during their stand out talk to talk later on in the episode.

Harvey and Mike officially get their plan rolling.
At the start of the episode, fans got to see Mike and Harvey officially start rolling out their plan to take down Velocity Data Solutions and get Mike and Rachel the chance to become real attorneys. The only problem is that Harvey and Pearson Specter Litt are not allowed to get involved into the suit. Mike technically runs the suit under the clinic, with the help of Oliver, and the two put together the best lawsuit ever. However, the two run into trouble when Mr. Palmer, the CEO of Velocity Data Solutions approaches Mike and tells him to let the suit go. Mike, scared for what will happen to the clinic blurts out that P.S.L actually does have his back. Come on Mike….I thought you knew how to keep a secret!
“I guess you didn’t get the memo that my co-counsel on this is Pearson Specter Litt.” – Mike
“Bullshit, the name’s not on any one of these documents.”
“They just wanted to keep a low profile, but go ahead, I’ll call them myself.” – Mike

Louis is left hanging on his own. Again.
After Harvey promises to help Louis win the heart of one of their best clients, Harvey stands Louis up. Instead of helping Louis impress this CEO woman, Harvey decides to help Mike with the Velocity case. Don’t fret though, Louis asks Rachel and Katrina to take Harvey’s place instead, as both of these ladies are bad-ass and can impress anyone. In the end, P.S.L ends up getting fired by their best client. But, we still love them right?

Oliver puts his foot down.
In last week’s episode, Mike fired Oliver from their case with Sophia, the woman who was suing a company for evicting her. This week, Mike puts Oliver on the Velocity case with him, because he needs help researching every piece of dirt they can find on them. Oliver, hesitant to join forces with Mike, decides to help him anyway. However, after involving Pearson Specter Litt into the case behind their boss Nathan, Oliver puts his foot down. He asks Mike what he’s been doing and Mike tells him that he was in fact using the clinic as leverage to get into the BAR. What does Oliver say? Well, Oliver basically demands Mike to tell Nathan the truth or else.

Rachel and Katrina talk heart to heart.
Elsewhere, Rachel asks Katrina what it would have been like to work for her dad Robert Zane. Katrina tells Rachel that she in fact missed a lot. Katrina goes on to tell Rachel that she owes everything to her for even getting her a job with the “best litigation lawyer” she’s ever seen. Rachel, who seems happy at this response, says goodnight and walks away. However, Katrina stops her before she leaves and they have the sweetest heart to heart. Here’s how it went down:
“He doesn’t just love you, he respects you.” – Katrina
“How would you know?” – Rachel
“When he offered you that job, he was beaming…Rachel, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad, but he was okay that you didn’t take his offer.” – Katrina
“It doesn’t make me feel bad. It makes me feel great.” – Rachel
Go Rach!

Mike’s deal gets shaken up.
At the end of the episode, Mike’s deal gets shaken up. By shaken up, we mean turned on its head. Thinking he has the power of P.S.L behind him, Mike feels better than ever. It isn’t until James Palmer, the CEO of Velocity finds out what Mike has been doing that things go south. Craig Seidel, the man at the Ethic Committee for the BAR who offered Harvey the deal, was actually lying about his whole situation. Turns out Seidel only wants Harvey to sue Velocity because he’s been cheating on his wife. Nonetheless, Harvey doesn’t care at all. Harvey tells Craig that either he’s going to get Mike into the BAR, or there will be hell to pay.

Things are spicing up quickly in this last half of the season.
Mike and Rachel are getting closer and closer to becoming an attorney, Harvey and Louis are almost back on track, and the firm is gaining ground again. This week’s standouts were definitely Meghan Markle and Gabriel Macht. They killed it in the acting department, and brought new sides to both of their characters. In terms of next week? Well, hopefully Mike and Harvey win their case against Velocity, so that we can put this whole “am I a lawyer yet?” thing behind. See you next time!
