Taye Diggs is Headed to Empire!
Murder in the First actor and Private Practice alum, Taye Diggs, landed a recurring role in the highly anticipated third season of the addictive FOX drama, Empire. TV Line reports Diggs will portray Angelo Dubois, a city councilman hailing from a respected and affluent New York family. He is set to first appear in the season three premiere.

With his pedigree and a Harvard law diploma, Diggs’ Angelo could have made a fortune in the private sector. Instead, he is ruled by his sense of noblesse oblige, and focuses his energies on community organizing and local politics, inviting comparisons to Barack Obama.
