Hulu has ordered a monthly horror anthology series, revolving around 12 standalone stories which will be released over the course of a year.
Disney will begin its own streaming service in 2019, consisting of original content, movies, and television shows.

Hot Topic: Amazon Studios goes on a canceling spree and George Clooney’s Catch 22 gets a series order on Hulu!
George Clooney’s series, Catch 22, gets a series order on Hulu. The series will contain six episodes based on the 1961 Joseph Heller novel of the same name, set in the era of World War II in Italy. Clooney’s involvement with the series will be as a producer, as well as playing the role of Colonel Cathcart.
Amazon Studios cancels One Mississippi, I Love Dick, and Jean-Claude Van Johnson.
Guess Who: Marisa Tomei to guest star on The Handmaid’s Tale, Kristen Wiig to executive produce and star in Apple’s first comedy series, and more!
Marisa Tomei has signed on to be a guest star on the second episode of season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Amazon Studios has cast Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher, and Dominique McElligott in the TV adaptation of Garth Ennis’s The Boys. This superhero series was given a straight-to-series order and follows a group that closely watches the behaviors and habits of superheroes. The Boys will premiere in 2019 with eight episodes in its first season.
Apple has acquired the rights to a 10-episode comedy series that will be executive produced by and star, Kristen Wiig. The series is inspired by Curtis Sittenfeld’s short stories, “You Think It, I’ll Say It” and will be produced by Reese Witherspoon’s production, Hello Sunshine. The untitled series is created by 30 Rock’s Colleen McGuinness, who will also take on the role of showrunner and executive producer.

Love the 90’s? If so, you’ll love Netflix’s 90’s themed show, Everything Sucks, set to premiere on February 16th. This ultimate 90’s throwback will take place in Boring, Oregon (yes, this is a real town!) and is centered on Boring High School’s A/V and Drama Club. The two clubs will come together to make a movie and tackle the burden of high school.
Netflix’s Queer Eye reboot released a trailer introducing the Fab Five and will premiere February 7th.
Hulu released a season 2 trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale and is set to premiere on April 25th with two episodes, with following episodes every Wednesday. The 13 episode season will dive into Offred’s pregnancy and her efforts to escape the chilling grips of Gilead.
The red band trailer for the upcoming Heathers reboot is here! Based on the 1988 cult classic film, this Paramount Network series will be an hour-long anthology set in the present day. Heathers will premiere on the Paramount Network on March 7th, 2018.
