Nina Dobrev Makes TVD Fans Everywhere Rejoice with One Post
Since The Vampire Diaries season six finale, Elena has been under Kai’s (Chris Wood) sleeping beauty like spell and with her life tied to her best friend, Bonnie’s (Kat Graham), he assured not to attempt any witch-y work around or they’ll both die. While the writers and producers have done an exceptional job keeping the spirit of Elena alive with regular journal entries to Elena and just talking about her, but there’s always been something missing.

Then with the announcement that season eight would be the series finale season, viewers have wondered if the show’s one-time leading lady would reprise her role or roles of the characters we fell in love with. Well, Nina Dobrev answered the season-long question and sent fans into a frenzy with one post. While she didn’t reveal which one of her roles she’s reprising (Elena, most likely), she did confirm she is coming back.
