From chasing bad guys on the streets to vampires
Rookie Blue star, Missy Peregrym has been cast as Scarlett Harker, a woman with a mysterious past who might help turn the tide against the vampires, in the second season of Syfy’s action series Van Helsing. The series reimagines the timeless Dracula brand with the resurrection of Vanessa Van Helsing, the next in line of a lineage of warriors who now must lead mankind against a world controlled by vampires.

Missy Peregrym is a Canadian actress and former fashion model best known for her role as Officer Andy McNally on the ABC and Global Television Network series Rookie Blue.
Award-winning, writer-director Neil LaBute has returned as showrunner. The series, slated to return this fall, is currently in production shooting in Vancouver, BC.
Van Helsing airs on Syfy in the U.S., on SuperEcran in Quebec, Canada and globally on Netflix.
