Michael Ironside Heads to Central City
Top Gun, Starship Troopers and Total Recalll alum, Michael Ironside has been cast on the highly anticipated second season of the CW superhero drama, The Flash. The Hollywood Reporter learned Ironside has landed a guest role of villains Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Lisa Snart/Golden Glider’s (Peyton List) abusive father, Lewis Snart.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as Lewis is described as cold-blooded, ruthless career criminal. Recently released from prison, he returns to Central City with a plan that will endanger both of his children. In the comics, not much is known about the Snart patriarch, other than he was so abusive that as a child, the future Captain Cold spent more time with his grandfather, who ran an ice truck.
Ironside will guest star in episode 203, entitled “Family of Rogues. Miller and List will also be in the episode as their villainous alter egos.
