Another Villain is heading to Starling City
Guess what Arrow fans, Matt Ward has been cast to appear in the highly anticipated third season of the superhero drama. According to Entertainment Weekly, Matt has been booked to play the role of Simon Lacroix otherwise known as DC Comics villain, Komodo. An adversary of Green Arrow, Simon is a deadly mercenary that goes by the name Komodo and wreaks havoc in Starling City.
“Yes, he’s the villain-of-the-week for the second week of the show, but you’ll see that Team Arrow’s pursuit of him is part and parcel of a season-long storyline,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim says. “You’re going to know what happens to Komodo at the end of the episode, but it will be a little bit tied in better with the season-long mythology than villain-of-the-week episodes have done in the past.”

Matt Ward is best known for his roles in TRON: Legacy, Charlie St. Cloud and Alien vs. Predator Requem. He has most recently appeared as Brian Decker in the Global TV medical drama, Remedy.
