Lauren Bowles is Headed to the Nation’s Capital
True Blood alum, Lauren Bowles has landed a guest role on the hit ABC political drama, Scandal. According to The Hollywood Reporter Bowles has been cast as Mellie Grant’s (Bellamy Young) sister, Harmony and is scheduled,to appear in the April 2nd episode of the series fourth season.

The role is scheduled for one episode at this time. It’s unclear if the character has the possibility to return — as has been the case with multiple guest stars on Scandal.
The story will focus on Elizabeth’s (Portia de Rossi) fear that Mellie’s sister could be detrimental to their political aspirations. It comes as President Grant (Tony Goldwyn) has been eyeing a new lame-duck VP who won’t run against Mellie, who continues to have political aspirations of her own.
