Marvel Unveils a New Spotlight Series Devoted to ‘Black Panther’
Marvel Comics announced their next breakout Super Hero, Black Panther, with a new video series titled, “Black Panter: A Nation Under Our Feet.” Marvel will work alongside production house, Bow & Arrow, to release the bold hip-hop driven animated videos devoted that presents Black Panther, his kingdom of Wakanda, and the Marvel Universe. The fresh new video series infuses animated comics with in-depth narration and commentary that is designed to present a whole new audience to the world of Black Panther long with his cinematic debut in Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War.” Then each month a new video in the series will be released alongside the latest issue of Marvel Comics’ “Black Panther.” Each installment of The “Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet” will not only educate new and old fans about “Black Panther” with commentary from his creator, Ta-Nehisi Coates, but feature motion graphics and a score from some of the world’s hip-hop acts. Black Panther #1, written by The Atlantic national correspondent and National Book Award winner, Ta-Nehisi Coates, accompanied with outstanding art by Brian Stelfreeze, garnered international buzz and attention upon the announcement of this series in 2015 and debuted as the best-selling comic for the month of April. Marvel continues the excitement surrounding Marvel’s celebrated Super Hero T’Challa, the Black Panther, through a groundbreaking hip-hop inspired video series.
