ABC Family Greenlights New Scripted Drama ‘Stay’

There’s a New Sheriff Coming to Town on ABC Family!

Joining previous orders “Gorgeous Morons” and supernatural drama “Beyond”, ABC Family green-lights Stay, a new scripted one-hour drama. Written and executive produced by Spenser Cohen. Jon Turteltaub (“National Treasure,” “Sorcerer’s Apprentice”), the story follows a recently widowed police detective and his two daughters who are stranded at a foreboding hotel and must unravel the hotel’s mysteries to escape.

“’Stay’ is an emotionally powerful story about a fractured family that comes back together under the most unexpected of circumstances,” said Karey Burke, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development, ABC Family. “’Stay’ is a haunting and surprising ride that we are excited to bring to life.”
