Official Synopsis:
Tasked with arranging his brother Max’s Rune Ceremony, Alex decides this would be the perfect opportunity for his family to get to know Magnus. But with tensions flying among the different Shadowhunters, Max’s big event quickly becomes an evening where they all must face their biggest fears.
Meanwhile, Simon makes a bold move as Isabelle finds an unlikely new ally.
Oh my! Just when we thought our Shadowhunters’ lives couldn’t get any more complicated, they do! With Izzy continuing down a dark path, can a surprising new relationship with a Downworlder bring her back to us? In the meantime, both Jace and Alec must face their demons (possibly literally) during a time when they should be celebrating another’s rite of passage.
