Bonnie Bennett is Growing up.
Since leaving The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham has been one busy lady. She has a single, “Sometimes”, that is #16 on the Billboard dance club charts right now and she just released a new album. Today news broke that Kat will be acting alongside Forest Whitaker and Theo James in the new Netflix thriller ‘How it Ends.’ In Kat’s last movie she played the role of Jada Pinkett Smith in the Tupac biopic, ‘All Eyez on Me’, which is in theaters now. Kat is best known for her portrayal of Bonnie Bennett, everyone’s favorite good witch, on the CW’s hit The Vampire Diaries. The Vampire Diaries ended earlier this year after eight seasons on the air.

According to Variety, in ‘How it Ends’ Graham plays the wife Samantha, the wife of Will, played by James. Whitaker plays Tom, Graham’s overbearing father, and when an apocalypse takes place the two men have to join forces to try to rescue Graham. The roads are impassable and the two men are at odds due to at Samantha’s urging Will just stood up to Tom not knowing they would have to come together to rescue her. Will is determined to do whatever it takes to get to his wife and unborn child, even if it means working with his father in law. Sounds awesome, right? If Kat Graham is on board so are we!
