Ian Speaks Out About Fracking to WGNO New Orleans

The Vampire Diaries handsome Ian Somerhalder (Damon) returned to his home state of Louisiana to speak out about why he’s opposed to oil drilling and fracking. First he attended a meeting at Lake Shore High School in Mandeville to speak on behalf of the Concerned Citizens of St. Tammany. Then in an interview with WGNO New Orleans, he spoke to reporter Wild Bill Wood and explains why this case is especially close to his heart. An oil company, Helis wants to drill in his hometown in St.Tammany Parish Louisiana. Take a look at part one of Ian’s interview as well as his appearance at Lake Shore High School below.
