CW Network has announced the renewals of eight of its current series for the 2015-2016 season. Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW made the announcement today at the Television Critics Association press tour.
“Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience,” said Pedowitz. “By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.”

Superhero series returning for its fourth season Arrow and it’s second season The Flash. In addition sci-fi/fantasy series Supernatural returns for its eleventh season and The Vampire Diaries follow with a seventh season of its own and its spinoff show The Originals renews for a third season, along with apocalyptic series The 100 and Reign. Currently there are no specific premiere dates for each series and CW concludes the lineup with Jane The Virgin announces a second season renewal. Beauty and the Beast fans still now news on the fate of this series but stay strong.
