“We have a plan. We have a way out.”
Back from San Diego Comic Con it’s a few months after and I’m watching AMC The Walking Dead and reminded about my adventures on The Walking Dead Escape and how much at times looking back, that place was a little too much like Terminus. It was tons of fun, lots of blood and tons of walkers and I’m not much of a guide but here are at the very least seven things I took away from this experience and hopefully it will help you survive The Walking Dead Escape.
The Running Dead
No one warns you how much running you have to do when you’re being chased by Walkers. If you’re planning to face walkers do it in comfortable shoes. I was wearing kick ass boots but very ineffective. The very least I should have armed those babies with steal toe spikes or something.
Walkers, Walk. Duh!
Walkers don’t run, but they don’t need to when there are a gazillion of them coming at you! You’re not allowed to arm yourself which seems a bit unfair when the only thing you have to protect you are football scrimmage techniques, so practice your suicides folks!
Say cheese it’s picture time. FFS!
Hell to the heck no! Not me but there’s an area you’ll arrive where you can take the time to get your picture taken with one that was captured. But if you’re like me and you see walkers behind you and don’t want to get bitten. That’s the last thing you’re going to do.
Bunch of Quitters
Hey Terminus looking dude with your, “told you those assholes didn’t know what they were doing.” – I don’t take kindly to being called a “quitter” when I just survived a mob of zombies wanting to experience the dark meat of my person. Okay?!
Stay Alive
No shit! Mister army leader guy of course we want to stay alive. So when you’re being told to follow you, and that you know where all the weapons are, what are we going to do? Blindly follow right? I mean, they used what every person trying to avoid being eaten wants to hear. The “Safe Zone.” After watching Terminus, what the HELL was I thinking? Trust no one. If you’re going to follow, be very aware that you might be headed into a trap.
Walkers Don’t Care If You Have A Family So…Shut.Up!
Saying “don’t touch me” is more for you. Jesus! The walkers don’t care. They. Are. Dead. I repeat, dead! – Remember that so you’re not sooo annoying. It’s an obstacle of walkers and when I wasn’t trying to dodge them and appeal to what exactly their humanity? With “please I have a family?” You’re losing all sense of reality and it’s clear how easily you can go cray cray in this environment. Yes, you’ll say and do almost anything to get through the end of this journey.
When you want to kill off a character sooooo badly
Try not to be annoying when you’re getting away. Looking back watching this video screams alone are as annoying as hell. I want to feed her to the walkers…oh wait that’s me. Anyway, just so you know that in The Walking Dead Escape they do have a plan for us… Watch the video to see exactly what it is. Don’t forget to check out The Walking Dead Reviews they’re pretty darn insightful.
