We are just days away from the season two premiere of The Originals. So much happened last season in the French Quarter, we have been dying to know what happens next in the hit supernatural drama. Luckily, with each passing day, we’re that much closer to the season two premiere of the hit supernatural drama. We’ve gathered all the latest spoilers for the upcoming season for you, Take a peek at them below.

EW caught up with the man, who portrays the original-vampire hybrid everyone loves to hate, Klaus (Joseph Morgan):

JOSEPH MORGAN: We’re filming pretty much non-stop, a lot of nights, a lot of fights. I’m actually on my way to rehearse a huge stunt fight sequence, which is kind of exciting. We’re trying to up the action in season two and make it even more dynamic…..

Well, when we pick up four months after the season one finale, one of the big changes is that Hayley is now a hybrid. Will that help her relationship with Klaus in any way? Bring them closer?…..Hayley’s not taking it very well at all. And Elijah, I think, feels very distant from her and worries about her, and so he encourages Klaus, being the only other hybrid now, to talk to Hayley, to help her understand what it is that she’s going through and how she can deal with the thing that she’s become. So Klaus rather reluctantly does that. I would say that it helps their relationship, but it’s not like everything is just fine after that….

Another big change this season is the return of both of Klaus’ parents… which one do you think is more of an emotional threat? it still affects him, even at a thousand years old with all of his strength and power, he’s still a little boy when it comes to his parents. He reverts to being that child again in their eyes, and in his own while he’s around them.

Flashbacks? Yes. We’ve filmed some already. His relationship with his parents in general and the truth behind all of those stories and all of that stuff…

Is Klaus’ wolf pack even on his mind at this point? Not when we find him initially, because all he can think about is his lost child and rightly so, but with Klaus, it’s always a struggle for his identity…

E Online spoke to Sebastian Roche’ about Mikael’s return this season. Here’s a little of what he had to say.

“The first five episodes are going to be very intense and it’s going to be quite an epic season, there’s no question about it. We’re in store for some amazing confrontations between Mikael and his sons.”

“Mikael has this thousand-year-old rage and desire for revenge for his son,” Roché said. “There are going to be some different aspects this time around but that desire for revenge will be there still. You’ll see different layers to the character through flashbacks, and we’ll see the history of some of the other characters of our family as well as others like Hayley [Phoebe Tonkin] and Cami [Leah Pipes] and Davina.”

“Actually, there are moments where you’ll see that Mikael and Davina have this almost teacher/pupil relationship, even though Mikael is rough around the edges in those terms, but he doesn’t mind her for being brave enough to stand up to him,” he said.

“He doesn’t know Esther returned too,” Roché said. “I can’t wait until they meet and find out they’ve both returned. It will be quite interesting when Mikael finds out that he’s surrounded by his entire family again. The emotional ramifications of that encounter will be fascinating. We don’t know if she’s going to come back as who he knew 1,000 years ago, but she’s still the embodiment of his wife. She was someone that he loved deeply and she was torn away from him. Then he took the blame for her death, so of course it’s going to be very emotional.”

“I don’t know if this will happen, but I’d really love to see the whole Original family meet, together, in a mea culpa session in modern times,” he added. “And I would be excited not to see me die! For a whole season! I tend to die in everything I do so I’d like to survive this time.”

After we heard that Nina Dobrev will be making an appearance as Tatia, we pressed Originals star Joseph Morgan for details. And it sounds like a very juicy flashback involving Tatia, Esther and her two sons. “You’re going to get insight into Klaus and Esther’s relationship, but also Elijah and Esther’s relationship and what happened back then,” Morgan said. “We’re grateful for Nina coming over… so we could tell that story because I think it needed to be told and it definitely informed who the brothers are today.”

Squee! So many spoilers! TV Line’s Ask Ausiello also shared some scoop on Nina Dobrev’s appearance in The Originals season two and two other juicy tidbits on the new season

Question: Any intel on Nina Dobrev’s crossover to The Originals? —Jacob
Ausiello: How’s this intel for you, Jacob? When asked if Tatia’s scenes with Elijah and Klaus would be “steamy,” or if they’d be all talk, Nina Dobrev answered, “A little bit of both, in different capacities. … I’m always going to be in a love triangle. I can’t escape it, so I might as well just accept it.”
Question: Will we learn in the upcoming Originals flashbacks with Kol about why he used to hang around the witches? —Tom
Ausiello: The flashback stories will kick in as early as Episodes 2 and 3, but it remains to be seen if that particular mystery will be answered. As for what will be explored, “You’re going to get see a little bit more of how the Originals wound up leaving Europe and coming to America,” executive producer Michael Narducci previews. “There’s definitely a reference to some things that we mentioned on Vampire Diaries, especially in the teaser of [Episode 2].” The EP also hints that we’ll learn how Kol came to be daggered.
Question: Hey, Ausiello. We’ve heard a lot of spoilers about Hayley, Klaus and Elijah on The Originals, but do you have any spoilers about Camille, her love interests and her role this season? —Mel
Ausiello: Despite trying to distance herself from the supernatural, Cami will get pulled back in thanks to her friendships with Marcel, Josh and Davina. Plus, she’s feeling a bit guilty over baby Hope’s death “because she didn’t act fast enough, she didn’t embrace the inheritance that Kieran left for her,” Narducci explains. “She feels a certain amount of responsibility. Now she’s thinking, ‘If I don’t get involved, maybe Davina’s going to wind up in trouble. If I don’t get involved, maybe Klaus is going to spiral out of control.’”

This week the synopsis and promotional photos for The Originals 2×02 “Alive & Kicking” were released as well as the promotional photos for The Originals 2×03 “Every Mother’s Son.” We also got not one, but two a sneak peek at a season from the season two premiere, “Rebirth” and the official poster for season two.
