Mixed-Japanese WOC about to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My childhood media obsessions included Pride and Prejudice, Star Wars, musicals, and Lord of the Rings. When not revising for exams or working, you’ll find me binging television and films, running off to conventions or other events that allow me to rub elbows with those responsible for creating content I enjoy, or Youtubing about those experiences.
After falling down the rabbit hole of SDCC in 2010, I’ve been a regular attendee and from there, branched out to other fan activities, be they other conventions, theatre stage doors, premieres, or filming. Then in 2013, I met a wizard named Sue who cast a magic spell that gave me the opportunity to write and report on my favourite content. It’s been quite the adventure ever since. My primary focus is to challenge content creators to put forth better depictions and representation for minorities.
