King Tut is Coming… But what about Twisted?
The upcoming cable-owned miniseries, Tut, has found it’s King Tut. The Hollywood Reporter learned that, Twisted star Avan Jogia, will play the Egyptian-Emperor, Tut. “We are thrilled to work with such an incredibly gifted young actor who is perfectly suited to take on the immensely complex character of King Tutankhamun,” said Spike original series executive vice-president Sharon Levy. Tut will be filmed in Morocco and Canada in the fall for a 2015 debut.

The series marks Spike’s channel first scripted event series in eight years and its latest step in its move to reach a more gender-balanced audience. As the news broke, the question is now… What about ABC Family’s Twisted? Neither the network nor any of the cast members broke the silence on whether the show is canceled or not. Fans are still waiting for such news but will they ever get it?
