A Bromance On and Off Screen
The Vampire Diaries’ handsome Zach Roerig (Matt) and Michael Trevino (Tyler) attended Creation Entertainment’s annual TVD and The Originals fan convention in Las Vegas, Nevada (Sept. 12 – 14). Cast members appearing this year include Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley. Michael Trevino, Zach Roerig, Steven McQueen, Kat Graham, Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Chase R. Coleman, Sebastian Roche’, Micah Parker, Rick Cosnett and Paul Telfer. They appear in Q&A panels for the fans, sign autographs and take photos with fans. Zach and Michael appeared for their panel Sunday afternoon. Below are some quotes from the panel as well as photos shared by fans.

- Michael would want to be Enzo and Zach would be Rebekah.
- A fan asks to Zach who would he liked to be changed by and another fan yelled Rebekah.
- Zach promises not to cry anymore on the show.
- They debate off mic what they could talk about without spoiling anything.
- Apparently, Zach is ahead in the script than Michael.
- Michael is bummed that Tyler is a human now but it’s possible to become a werewolf again.
- They both said they like how dedicated the fans are.
- Zach tells the crowd that he loves us fans. Aww.
- “Tyler will always be kind of a dick”- Michael.
- Michael said season 2 was his favorite to shoot because of the werewolf story line. And his season 1 story line was boring and dumb.
- Zach said he thinks Matt will be human until he dies.
- Michael: “Candace pranked me by putting a banana between her legs during a make out scene in bed and I felt soooo awkward!”
- “My embarrassing times on set are laying there naked after a transformation. Candace has seen my junk soooo many times!” - Michael.

- Michael asked the writers if they could get more scenes with Tyler, Matt, and Jeremy.
- Michael and Zach both love pranking Steven the most.
- Zach does an impression of Steven.
- Zach says that Caroline sleeping with Klaus is revenge for Tyler banging Matt’s mom. Bros before hos LOL
- No love interest for Matt this season.
- Fan asks Michael if he would like to sleep with Caroline to get back at Klaus and he said “YES!”
- Michael and Zach like to relax on a boat on a beautiful lake in Atlanta with the cast.
- A fan asks them to describe the new season in three words. “PRETTY. FUCKING. AWESOME.”
- Michael’s biggest fear? “I hate spiders man!”
